This is a custom home for a local couple who recently retired. The Owners had a limited construction budget and a fixed income, so the project had to be simple and efficient to build, while being economical to operate and maintain. The end result is delightfully livable and feels bigger and nicer than the budget would indicate. The floor plan is very efficient and open with passive solar design, and views of the Goose Pasture Tarn. This home was featured in the 2014 Summit County Builder's Association Parade of Homes, and won the "Green Builder" award from the High Country Conservation Center.
